With his new psychic abilities, Paul sees a vision of the true power the planet Rakis holds on its own. He realizes that the desert itself is a weapon that he and the Fremen can use to defeat their enemies.
Harnessing and riding the gigantic God-like sandworms, Paul and the Fremen ride the worms into the capital city of Rakis and storm the Emperor's citadel, annihilating the Harkonnens.
Shocked and terrified by Paul's stunning abilities, the Emperor abdicates from the throne, and cedes control of the Empire to Paul, and the Fremen - who rejoice.
Although triumphant and rightfully victorious, having vanquished his no doubt evil enemies, Paul begins to understand that the Fremen no longer see him as just a person, but now revere him as their Messiah.
In a new vision, he realizes he will be powerless to stop the now fanatical Fremen from carrying out a bloody religious crusade across the galaxy in his name, in the years to come.

Wow, I just had to buy this. All three tracks are amazing, the sound is so full and encompassing, it just envelopes you. I have it playing in the studio when I'm making - it's the perfect album for that - energizing and inspiring.

Jordan Vauvert
Produced by Converge's Kurt Ballou, the metal band's fourth LP channels tragic, transcendental themes into fierce progressive sludge metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 28, 2024
Grabbed this on Bandcamp whilst watching it being played live at The Dome. Tears welled up as the final crescendo peaked and had it been the end of my cycle, I would have happily spontaneously combusted, I then realised it was only dawn and the first of the triptych, so I will soldier on, at least until dusk and endure another two stellar opus’s before I can embark on that final journey.
