Chapter 2

His vision fully realized, the growing conspiracy against the once proud heroic Messiah has resulted in a deadly terrorist attack at the heart of his empire, and has robbed him of his eyes. Physically blind, he regains hope among his people as her personally saves the wounded during the fallout, and astonishes all when he reveals he is able to see from within, using his incredibly adept foresight. His people rejoice at the return of their previously morally corrupt hero, but the damage has been done. Disposing of the rot that infected his kingdom for nearly a decade, he decides to take the suffering of his people upon himself, and pledges to fulfill an ancient customary sacrifice...
